Eyewitnesses have described the final moments of Osun State deputy director of safety organisation, O-Ambulance, who was allegedly killed by a gas explosion in the state capital, Osogbo yesterday.

According to them, Olori Opeyemi Omobolawa Fola, the trained senior nurse who was also the President, Rotary Club International, GRA, Osogbo had gone to a station, Grace Gas, in Osogbo to refill her cylinder, when her mobile phone suddenly rang and triggered a bang as she tried to answer the call.

NewsmakersNG learnt that the phone exploded instantly, setting the woman and her car ablaze, as it flung the gas cylinder to a far distance.

The explosion allegedly killed the director and injured many people near the scene.
