Nigerian investors are increasingly seeking exposure to SpaceX’s upcoming initial public offering, with access expected through regulated investment platforms that allow participation in US equities, according to market information.
The IPO is expected to attract global retail and institutional interest, with Nigerian participation driven by growing access to international markets through fintech platforms that support Naira funding and dollar conversion.
Among the platforms enabling such access is Bamboo, which allows Nigerian users to fund accounts in Naira and invest in US-listed equities through partner brokerage arrangements once securities become available on public markets.
The indicative entry price for retail exposure is estimated at around $135 per share, depending on allocation structures, availability, and platform-specific access rules once the stock begins trading or becomes accessible through approved channels.
Typically, Nigerian investors are required to open and verify an account, fund it in Naira, convert to US dollars within the platform, and then place orders or indications of interest where IPO access is supported.
However, participation in IPO allocations is not guaranteed and may be limited depending on demand and regulatory constraints.
In many cases, retail investors gain exposure only after shares begin trading publicly, depending on how each platform structures access to newly listed US equities.
The development reflects increasing appetite among Nigerian investors for high-profile global technology listings, particularly those linked to Elon Musk, as cross-border investing becomes more accessible through fintech-driven brokerage solutions.
