Horror: Woman Scalds 10-year-old Stepson’s Face with Electric Iron

A housewife in Lagos has reportedly punished her 10-year-old stepson for an undisclosed offence by scalding his face with an electric iron.

NewsmakersNG learnt that the incident took place on Sunday at the family residence in Owode Onirin.

The victim, Ezekiel Kuti, reportedly lives with his soldier dad, Babatunde Kuti and step mum, Saude Kuti, who hails from Benin republic.

The incident was shared in a Twitter post by one Opomulero Eleniyan via the handle, @Opomulero_007.

The post claimed the woman had physically abused the victim and his younger sister on several occasions in the past but her husband always used his position as a soldier to shield her from justice.

The post reads: “The child below is Ezekiel Kuti. He stays with his dad, a military officer, and step mother, Saude Kuti, at Owode Onirin opposite old Barack, Lagos state. His step mother used hot electric iron on his face.

“The name of the step mother is Saude Kuti she is from Benin 🇧🇯 republic and the boy father is Babatunde Kuti from Ogun state..this is not the first time. This is happening if u listened to what Ezekiel said in the video, but the husband keep using his military power to protect her.

“The last time she abused Ezekiel immediate sister ..she was arrested and she sighed undertaken that such won’t repeat itself again ..Each time we try to get justice, her husband keep using is Military power and connection to get her free and justify.”

NewsmakersNG also learnt that the victim has been moved to his grandmother’s house in Sagamu, Ogun State, where he is recuperating.
