Pat Stevens/
An impromptu meeting between the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and the federal government earlier scheduled to hold today has been shifted to tomorrow.
This was confirmed by (ASUU) via a post on its official Twitter handle this evening.
No reason was given for the postponement of the meeting.
ASUU expressed the hope that both parties would reach an agreement that will lead to the suspension of the 56-day old strike during tomorrow’s meeting.
