Former Democratic Presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton, has garnered over half-a-million likes with almost 20,000 comments and goodwill messages within four hours on Facebook after posting a cheerful picture of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris standing on a major road and smiling through a car window to greet a fan.

The picture, which has generated reactions across the world, shows the President-Elect and Vice-President-elect without a mask. They also didn’t observe social distancing as dictated by COVID-19 protocols.

It was posted on a day when Biden had just named a COVID-19 Transition Advisory Board.

Biden told Americans in a statement: “Today, I have named a COVID-19 Transition Advisory Board, comprised of distinguished public health experts, to help our transition team translate the Biden-Harris COVID-19 plan into a blueprint we can put into place as soon as @KamalaHarriss and I are sworn into office.

“My COVID-19 Transition Advisory Board will advise on detailed plans built on a bedrock of science, and that keep compassion, empathy, and care for every American at its core.

“The challenge before us right now is still immense and growing, and so is the need for bold action to fight this pandemic.

“The bottom line: I will spare no effort to turn this pandemic around.”
