Hazard

Chelsea star, Eden Hazard, may have opted for a continued stay in England, despite Real Madrid’s readiness to break the £100 million barrier to lure him to the Bernabeu.
The player might have just dropped a subtle hint that he is quite happy in west London.
Chelsea are set to open talks over a new deal with the Belgian this summer amid interest from Real Madrid. The Blues are determined to keep their star man with Champions League football looking certain again next season.
Sportsmail’s Sami Mokbel revealed this week that Real want to make the 26-year-old their latest Galactico, with the potential for the £100 million barrier to be broken.
Real are one of the few clubs in the world capable of making the deal financially, but Madrid might not have the pull as a city to sway Hazard.
A response from the 26-year-old to a Q&A on the club’s website hints that he and his children would be perfectly happy to remain in London.
Asked where he sees himself living when he retires, Hazard’s response is of a man content in his surroundings.
He said: “Maybe I will live in Belgium, to be close to the family, or else I could go somewhere with nice weather. My kids are very settled in London so it could be here, that’s a long way off yet so we will see.”
Negotiations on a new deal with Chelsea could see the Belgian’s pay bumped up towards £300,000 per week with built-in bonuses.
He is currently paid £200,000 after signing a five-and-a-half-year deal in February 2015.
