A man identified as APC Chieftain, Mr Ahmed Gulak, has been found in a pool of his blood after he was reportedly shot by gunmen at Umueze Obiangwu community along Sam Mbakwe airport road in Owerri, Imo state.
According to sources, Gulak who hails from Adamawa State was on his way to the airport when he was attacked by gunmen who shot and killed him on the spot.
Sources say he must have been trailed from his hotel room to the spot where he was killed.
When contacted, the Public relations officer of the Imo state police command, Bala Elkana, said he had not been briefed on the incident.
