Gunmen Attack Another Police Station in Imo, Kill 5 Officers

Unknown gunmen have razed the Okigwe south divisional police command in Ehime Mbano LGA of Imo state.

Five officers were reportedly killed by the attackers when they invaded the station earlier this evening.

Hours earlier, gunmen had attacked two security checkpoints in Rivers state — one manned by officers of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), and another by the joint task force — killing eight security agents, including four policemen.

Operational vehicles were also razed during the attack in Rivers.
