Gov Bello Sent Policemen to Kill Me, Dino Melaye Alleges

Senator Dino Melaye has alleged that Kogi State governor, Yahya Bello, sent three truckloads of policemen to his country home in Aiyetoro Gbede in the early hours of today to assassinate him.

Melaye in tweet claimed the attack was orchestrated by the governor’s ADC, in concert with the Commander of the State Anti-Robbery Squad, his deputy and the deputy commander of the mobile police unit in the state.

The Senator said he had evidence of the attack and would be reporting the incident to the United Nations and the International Criminal Court.

The tweet reads: “2 i/c mopol,OC SARS & 2 1/c SARS and 3 full load of policemen ilegally arranged by ADC to Kogi State Governor came to my country home in Aiyetoro Gbede to possibly assasinate me at 1am. I have profound evidence of this. I will take them up on this. I will write the UN and ICC.”
