Got ’em: Police Nab Two More Suspects in Bloody Offa Bank Robbery Case

Two more suspects have been held by detectives hunting the bandits who raided some banks in Offa, Kwara State, and killed several people, including policemen.

According to the police, the pictures published by the media, of the wanted criminals, made it easy for detectives to track fleeing members of the gang.

The arrested suspects were identified as 35-year-old Kunle Ogunleye, aka Arrow, a native of Kwara, arrested yesterday in Oro town, in the state and Micheal Adikwu, a native of Apa LGA in Benue State,

Adikwu was described as a dismissed police corporal, who was arrested by the Police in 2012 and charged to Court in Kwara State for compromising by releasing some wanted armed robbers.

He allegedly spent three years in Prison, subsequently found his way out in 2015 and became a notorious armed robber.

He was arrested again by IRT operatives in Kwara State two weeks ago.

Officers told NewsmakersNG that all suspects arrested among others have confessed to the Offa bank robberies and murders,

They are assisting the IRT teams in arresting more gang members.
