Internally Displaced People (IDP) in Kuchingoro, Abuja, have been assured that God cares for them and can never abandon them.
The assurance came from Pastor Ughogho Ayaru of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Province 4, Lagos, when he led other ministers of God from Apapa family in Lagos to join members of RCCG City of David, Abuja branch to commission boreholes and toilet facilities.
The facilities were built by the church to celebrate the Nigeria Independence Day anniversary with the IDPs.
He encouraged the people to have trust in God, adding that he would always provide for their needs and not abandon them.
While calling on other organizations to come to the aid of the IDPs across the country, Pastor in charge of RCCG City of David, Gbolade Okenla said the church carefully considered the topmost of their needs before providing the boreholes and toilet facilities for the IDPs.
Okenla enjoined them to make judicious use of the water and toilet facilities.
The Church also provided free medical facilities and food for the people.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mrs Maria Moses, thanked the Church for the kind gesture towards them.
While calling on other organizations to emulate the RCCG City of David by providing basic amenities for them, she prayed for God’s provision for the Church.
