It was a night of glamour, celebration and unforgettable memories as CITA Energies hosted its end-of-year awards night at the elegant Providence Hotel, Oba Akinjobi Road, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos.

The colourful ceremony brought together management, staff and invited guests to thank God for the year 2025 and recognise outstanding performance, exemplary character and long-serving employees whose dedication has contributed significantly to the company’s growth and success.

Adding prestige to the occasion were special guests including Odion Okpaise, Head of Aviation Commercial at Conoil PLC, and Dimeji Amao, Zonal Manager of Globacom, whose presence underscored the significance of the celebration.

There were dignitaries from the airline customers, the regulatory bodies, financial institutions and insurance that supported the business during the year.

Entertainment took centre stage as a captivating duet by Tewogbade and Adedayo set the tone for the evening, followed by a soulful saxophone performance by Boye Sax that added elegance to the night.

Laughter filled the hall as Taichid Comedian delivered rib-cracking jokes, while the Madawi Crew thrilled guests with electrifying dance performances that kept the energy high throughout the event.

The highlight of the day was the presentation of awards to deserving staff members. Patience Alao emerged as Best Manager of the Year, while Toluwalase Oyedokun clinched the Employee of the Year Award. Long Service Awards were presented to Yinka Folashade and Olumide Oyedokun in recognition of their years of dedication.

Other award recipients included Michael Udekwe as Best Dressed Male, Fatimah Kelani as Best Dressed Female, Khairat Basharu for Most Improved Staff, Amaka Nkwor as Social Butterfly of the Year, and Benham Godiya, who won the Early Bird Award. The Finance Department was also honoured as Department of the Year for its outstanding performance.

Overall, the awards night stood as a true reflection of appreciation, unity and celebration, a memorable evening that reaffirmed CITA Energies’ commitment to recognising excellence, rewarding loyalty and strengthening teamwork among its workforce.
