The ancient town of Gbongan in Osun State, southwest Nigeria, is set to witness the conferment of chieftaincy titles on an illustrious son of the soil, Chief Kola Akinbami, and his wife, Justice Fatima Akinbami on November 22, 2023.
According to the official announcement, HRM Oba (Dr) Adetoyese Oyeniyi Odugbemi 1, the Olufi of Gbonganland will confer the Chieftaincy Title of Babalaje of Gbonganland on Chief Akinbami, and that of Yeyemofin of Gbonganland on his wife, Hon Justice Fatima Akinbami, by 10 am at his Palace in the Aiyedaade Local Government Area of Osun State.
Chief Akinbami, who is also the Babalaje of Ifewara, is an International Businessman, Global Thought Leader, Author, and Philanthropist and the wife is a retired justice of the Court of Appeal.
