The Mile 12 – Ketu area of Lagos is broiling following the killing of a leader of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) identified as Sulaimon Onaolapo aka Sule Ariku (Obama Mile 12).
Ariku who was also identified as the Mile 12 Branch Chairman of the Lagos State Park Management Committee, was reportedly shot and hacked to death with machetes and his body was dumped on the road.
The killing reportedly sparked a gang war and threw the area into a chaos that stalled traffic flow. Commercial activities were paralyzed.
