The United Nations Economic and Social Council (UNESC) has inducted Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), CP Frank Mba, into the United Nations International Hall of Fame.

It was the first in the history of such induction of a Nigeria Police Officer, according to the UNESC African Chairman, Dr. Williams Azuma Ijoma. Mba was also given a humanitarian award.

The induction and award ceremony took place in Abuja.

Ijoma said: “This is just our little way of rewarding in the open CP Frank Mba for his inexplicable sacrificial humanitarian acts nationwide. We have been watching him from far and near and observed on so many occasions how he risked his life in making sure that Nigerians all over receive the necessary help from the Police Force when their lives are endangered.

“By this recognition, CP Frank Mba is the first Nigerian Police Officer to be inducted into the UN Hall of Fame. This reward is to encourage you to do more for Nigerians.” 

Other inductees are HRM Alfred Dieta Spiff, the Amayanabo of Brass kingdom; HRH All Ibrahim Year Bologi, Mr. Abdulnasser Hajaig; the wife of Kaduna State governor, Hajia Hadiza El Rufai; wife of Kogi Governor, Rashidat Yahaya Bello, Ambassador Akinremi Amade Bolaji, Alexei Shebarshin Russian Ambassador to Nigeria; Prof Maruf Islam, founder and CEO Nadia select, Al-Hassan S Yakmut.

Others are Dr. Sylvester Obi; Dr. Naomi Etitinma Ijoma, and Dr. Okafor Okoreaffia.
