A forensic report has alleged that the embattled Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju Omoyinka, aka Baba Ijesha, inserted a car key into the vagina of the daughter of comedienne, Damilola Adekoya, aka Princess.

The forensic report was presented by a child forensic expert and the Executive Director of Cece Yara Foundation, Olabisi Ajayi-Kayode at the Special Offenses Court in Ikeja yesterday.

Ajayi-Kayode was called in as a witness by the prosecution team led by the Lagos State Director of Public Prosecution (DPP), Olayinka Adeyemi.

The forensic expert said a clinical report on the minor showed Baba Ijesha allegedly engaged the child in sexual activities when she was seven on two occasions, and on one occasion inserted his car key into her vagina.

She added that a forensic interview she had with the victim revealed engagement and suppression of the minor as Baba Ijesha had asked the minor not to inform anyone.

“He asked the child if he should remove his penis and asked her to sit on his lap. He told her not to tell anybody. The perpetrator also inserted his car key into her vagina and asked her not to tell anyone,” Ajayi-Kayode told the court.

She disclosed that car key insertion occurred at a park where fruits are sold.

The child forensic expert also presented a flash drive containing a video coverage of the interview with the survivor.

At a point during Ajayi-Kayode’s testimony, Princess became very emotional and walked out of the court crying, but later came back inside.

Baba Ijesha who donned a blue face cap and black nose mask stood in the witness dock but was not interrogated by the court because his counsel was absent.

The judge while adjourning the hearing till October 20 and 21 for admission of more witnesses and cross-examination, also gave assurance that the video tendered by the forensic expert would be displayed during subsequent hearings.

Baba Ijesha was arrested for alleged child molestation on April 22 and was remanded in police custody before being granted bail.

He is facing a six-count charge of sexual assault by penetration, indecent treatment of a child, and sexual assault.
