Flood Sweeps Away 3-year-old Girl in Lagos

Today’s heavy downpour in Lagos resulted in tragedy as an unidentified three-year-old girl was swept away by a raging flood in Surulere area.

NewsmakersNG learnt that the tragic incident occurred at Olawepo area of Idiaraba, close to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital.

Scores of motorists and pedestrians were also reportedly stuck on the road as a result of the massive flooding in several parts of the metropolis.
