Fire Razes House on the Rock in Abuja

A section of the House on the Rock church in Abuja has been razed by fire.

Images posted on Facebook by CKN, an online news site, showed the edifice, located on Airport Road, in flames.

Sources said the fire started in the afternoon, after today’s service, but the cause has not been determined.

There were also no reports of injuries.

Newsmakers also learned the fire had been put out at the time of filing this report.

The founder of the church, Pastor Paul Adefarasin, is currently out of the country, on a visit to the church’s headquarters, in London.
