The headquarters of Christ Embassy Church in the Oregun area of Ikeja, Lagos State, reportedly caught fire early today.
Videos from the scene shared on X.com showed flames engulfing the building, prompting swift response from officials of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service.
One Augustine, tweeting as Chief_Augustin1 on X.com, shared a video from the location, stating, “Christ Embassy Church on Billings Way, Oregun, is on fire. Serious flames are raging, and Lagos State Fire Service personnel are on-site working hard to contain the blaze. Thankfully, the service hasn’t fully commenced.”
Efforts are ongoing to salvage the situation as authorities continue to assess the extent of the damage.
