First Blessing Filling Station, located on Ilawe Road in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, has raised an alarm after a customer drove off without paying for fuel worth ₦58,000.
According to the station’s management, the incident involved a green-coloured Toyota Camry with the registration number KTU 833 HX.
The driver reportedly perfected his escape plan by discreetly widening the station’s gate while his tank was being filled. Once the refueling was complete, he quickly sped off without settling the bill.
The station’s management has appealed to the public for assistance in tracking the offender. Their plea was shared in a series of posts on X by a user identified as @Liltuffsb.
“This is not just about the money; it’s about ensuring this doesn’t happen to others. If you have any information about the vehicle or the driver, please report to the nearest police station,” the posts read.
Police have been notified of the incident, and investigations are ongoing.
