The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Water Board has announced it will be shutting down supply to parts of Abuja for five days beginning from October 18.
According to a public notice by the management of the Board, areas to be affected include, Asokoro, Maitama, Wuse 1, Wuse 2, Garki 1, Garki 2, Karu/Nyanya, Kubwa 1, Kubwa 2, Barracks and Central Area.
It said the shutdown is to enable the agency carry out scheduled maintenance of some of its facilities.
It therefore advised residents of the affected areas to store up sufficient water for use during the period.
