Ololade Adeyanju/

Immediate past governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, has announced the death of his elder sister, Mrs. Moji Ladeji, today, after a brief illness.

The former governor made the annoucement via his verified Twitter handle, @GovAyoFayose, this afternoon.

The tweet read, “On behalf my family, I announce the death of my immediate elder sister, Mrs Moji Ladeji. He died today, after a brief illness.

“We are pained by your departure, but consoled by the God fearing and exemplary life that you lived.

“May the soul of Sister Moji Rest In Peace.”

The deceased who celebrated her 61st birthday with a lavish party in London earlier in the year, was named as a principal suspect in a N2.2 billion fraud trial of the former governor.
