Followers of the National leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, took to Facebook today to mark the second year anniversary of the death of his son, Jide.

“Today marks the second year Jide Tinubu, Son of Ashiwaju Bola Tinubu passed on,” says a post by one Tunde Bello on a group’s platform on Facebook.

Jide, 37, died on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, after he slumped at his residence in Lagos.

Tinubu at the time described his late son as “a highly intelligent person with a vibrant personality and a zest for life”.

Further lamenting Jide’s untimely demise, Tinubu said he wished he could bring him back to life.

Tinubu’s followers in a group called ‘Tinubu’s Media Team’ with over 27, 000 members on their Facebook page prayed for the forgiveness of the sins of Jide Tinubu and the repose of his soul.
