The incident, captured on video, shows security personnel quickly intervening to free the artist, whose real name is Azeez Fashola.
Reports online linked the act to supporters of the late Mohbad, but Naira Marley himself downplayed the episode.
Rather than ignore the moment, he posted the video on social media with a humorous spin, signaling that he was unshaken by the disruption.
