The facility is managed by Elcrest E&P Nigeria Limited.
The incident reportedly occurred during production evacuation at Gbetiokun Early Production facility.
The development was disclosed by NNPC through its verified Twitter handle.
NewsmakersNG learnt that the incident will reduce Nigeria’s daily crude production by about 10,000 barrels.
