A caliber of special automatic British pistol only seen in James Bond movies has been recovered by Police border patrol team at Seme, in Badagry Local Government Area of Lagos.
NewsmakersNG learnt from eyewitnesses and sources at the Seme Divisional Headquarters of the police that the four-man gang was smashed by officers attached to the Nigeria-Benin Border Patrol under the leadership of CSP Moses Ogechi and the arrested suspects were handed over to the Divisional Police Officer.
The police action was commended by the Chairman, Badagry Local Government, Hon. Onilude Adeniran.
Some residents also commended the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Mohammed Adamu and the border patrol team for stemming the tide of crimes at the border communities and keeping smugglers at bay.
