Nigerian-International Pop Music icon, TuBaba aka 2 Face Idibia was received with great fanfare early today as he arrived in Brazil for his much-awaited Latin American music tour.
2Baba, who is expected to play at one of the most glamorous music centres in Sao Paulo, Brazil, was received by hundreds of fans at the Sao Paulo International Airport, Guarulhos, amid heavy security as crowds took over the arrival hall of the international airport in Sao Paulo to welcome the African pop king.
“This is marvellous,” said Adriano, a Brazilian DJ, who saw the crowd hailing the African Music King.
2Baba added fire to the frenzy with his swagger as he paid a surprise visit to the popular African mall called “Galeria” where business activities came to a standstill at the mall and on the street outside.
2Baba’s promoter, Mr Mac Alexander who spoke with NewsmakersNG’s Editor at large, Adeyinka Olaiya, said: “Record has been set as thousands of tickets for the show has been sold. Important music legends are already flying in from all parts of the world, including the United States of America for the show. We thank you, the sponsors and NewsmakersNg for your support. We will make Nigeria proud.”
Other singers expected at the show include Brazil-based music legend, Lumi, and the Sierra Leonean rapper, Mr Caribbean.
