The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has postponed the release of this year’s West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results till next week.
The result was earlier scheduled for release today.
The Council in a tweet in the early hours of today explained that it was forced to shift the release date due to the curfew imposed on some states as part of the fallouts of the #EndSARS protests.
It however did not state the exact date the results will be released next week.
The tweet read, “WASSCE SC 2020 Results Release Date: Dear candidates, the Council had planned to release the results today in fulfillment of our Project 45 but due to the curfew imposed last week, it had to be postponed till next week. The exact date will be made known soon.”
