#EndSARS: Oyo Dep Gov Joins Protest, Says ‘I’ve Twice Been a Victim’

Oyo State deputy governor, Rauf Olaniyan, has expressed support for the ongoing protests against police brutality and extortion by youths across Nigeria.

Olaniyan in a tweet disclosed that he had twice been a victim of police brutality.

The deputy governor also shared a photo of himself displaying a placard denouncing police brutality.

He tweeted, “I stand with the #EndSARS protesters because I’ve twice been a victim of police brutality. Now is the time for police reform. Now is the time to end police brutality.”
