Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila has announced through his Twitter account that he has secured the release of arrested #EndSARS protesters in Lagos today.
He listed those who were released as Okara Nkem, Ayodeji Ayeni, Nduka Treasure, Adeola Adebayo, and Adetifa Olanrewaju Samuel.
He said that further steps are being taken to secure the release of one more person detained at the State Criminal Investigations and Intelligence Department (SCIID), Panti, Yaba.
He stated: “The 6th detained person ADEMOLA OJABODU was transferred to Panti police station and all will be done to effect his release too.”
