Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in Saturday’s presidential election, has emerged victorious in not less than seven states that are strongholds of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Going by the available election results, the APC-controlled states where Atiku has emerged victorious included Oyo, Ondo, Benue, Plateau, Imo and his home state – Adamawa.

He also won in the APC-controlled Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and almost grabbed Osun State.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has shifted further announcements of collated results till Tuesday.
