The slogan in Lagos, Eko Oni Baje, gained some currency in Abuja today as a past governor, the present governor, and a likely future governor, who were arch-rivals, gave the Lagos story a different outlook at the Eagle Square.

As the All Progressives Congress (APC) holds its National Convention for its Presidential candidate in Abuja, an unusual picture was captured showing how far the APC leadership has been able to put its house in order.

The picture shows former Lagos governor, Mr Babatunde Raji Fashola, his successor and ‘tormentor’, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode, and the man who denied him a second-term ticket, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu sitting together like jolly good fellows.

Ambode took to Fashola like a duck to water and embraced him warmly to the amazement of onlookers, and the governor later took pictures with Sanwo-Olu and the Godfather of them all, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Time to make up, Ambode embraces Fashola
Time to make up: Ambode embraces Fashola, as Sanwo-Olu looks on.
No more war, Sanwo-Olu left, and Ambode with their Godfather, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in the middle.
