Ekiti Election: Nigerians Create Memes to Mock Fayose, PDP

Segun Atanda/

Memes and posts mocking Ekiti State governor,  Mr Peter Ayodele Fayose, have surfaced online after his candidate was declared the loser of yesterday’s governorship election.

Fayose’s Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Prof Olusola Eleka, trailed behind the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate,  Dr Kayode Fayemi, who was declared winner early today by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

One of the posts mocking the PDP says:

“When you have ADAMS as a Party National Chairman, the first man God created, the party would always come FIRST

“When you have a Party National Chairman, whose Name is SECONDUS . What position did you expect him to carry in any Contest?
Answer. “Second”

“So APC came first and
PDP comes second in the Ekiti Election.”
