Edo Gov Appoints 38-year-old Uzamere as Chief of Staff

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has approved the appointment of Osaze Uzamere as his Chief of Staff.

Secretary to the State Government, Osarodion Ogie, in a statement, today, said the appointment takes immediate effect.

He replaces Taiwo Akerele who resigned as Chief of Staff to the governor, on Friday, April 15.

Osaze, 38, is the son of Senator Ehigie Uzamere, who represented Edo South Senatorial District in the National Assembly between 2007 and 2011.

He is a graduate of Computer and Electrical Engineering from Stony Brook University, New York.

He served as Executive Assistant to the governor before his latest appointment.
