DSP Laraba Enemona Idachaba has made history by graduating from the Nigerian Law School with a First Class degree and being formally called to the Bar.
Her achievement is being widely celebrated as a landmark for women in uniform and an inspiring example of excellence and commitment.
Joining her at the Call to Bar ceremony in Abuja on Thursday was DSP Babaseyi Oluseyi, the Deputy Police Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Police Command, whose success also drew attention within the Force, and CSP Buhari Yusuf attached to DFA Force Headquarters, Abuja.
They were part of a group of 33 police officers officially admitted to the Nigerian Bar.
Among the officers called to the Bar were DSP Azamaimi Tana Ahekohimbia, DSP Ekem Ibiso Tamunosaki, DSP M.E. Garba, DSP Oga Nafisatu Sale, ASP Iye Silas, DSP E.A. Omo-Agege, ASP J.I. Ejime-Irabie, ASP Udora David Ugochukwu, and ASP Thompson Ofem Usang.
Others included ASP Ogugufa Josephine, DSP Lembang S. Precious, ASP Euodias Tsintop Emmanuel, DSP I.E. Chisom, DSP Abdulrazak Abdullahi Olamide, DSP Okoyomom Martins, and several others.
The police authorities, through the Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, congratulated all the officers, noting that their achievements highlight the dedication of men and women who balance duty with rigorous academic pursuit and reinforce the link between policing and the rule of law.
