The Police in Katsina State have called on members of the public to assist them in tracing the parents of a lost and found boy identified as Sa’ad Suleiman.

Katsina police spokesman, DSP Gambo Isah disclosed in a statement that the 12-year-old boy was found on September 17, 2017, and brought to Katsina from Madalla, in Niger State.

The boy allegedly claimed to be indigene of Mai’addua, in Katsina, and a pupil of A.A. International School, Mai’addua.

He gave his father’s name as Suleiman, mother as Hajara and his siblings as Alkasim, Abubakar and Nabila.

Isah said that the police had gone round all the areas of Mai’addua and Daura with the boy but could not locate his parents.

The police also couldn’t locate the school he mentioned in the whole of Mai’addua.

“He is not coherent and likely suffering from mental disorder.  Kindly circulate this message and his picture below to enable us trace his parents, relatives or guardians, please,” Isah said.
