A member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has told how he single-handedly rescued his wife and two sons who were kidnapped on their way home from Lekki, in Lagos last night.
Deacon Adefowope Orioye who shared his experience on Instagram revealed that his wife and two sons were kidnapped on Orchid Road, near Mega Event Mall in Lekki, at about 10 pm when they were returning home from a crusade.
According to the post, the wife was driving a Toyota Sequoia, while he was driving a Landrover Discovery, which he used to pursue the kidnappers and ran them off the road opposite Dream World Amusement Park, before they could enter the expressway.
When the kidnapper at the back seat of his wife’s car jumped out, he ran him down.
He revealed that the suspect is in police custody now.
