Delta Records First COVID-19 Infection as NCDC Confirms 16 Fresh Cases

The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 16 new cases of coronavirus in Nigeria, with Delta State registering its first case.

Lagos State recorded 10 cases, FCT has two, same as Oyo State, while Katsina State has one.

The agency said in a tweet that the total number of comfirmed cases in the country is now 254.

It added that 44 patients have been treated and discharged while six people have died.
