Ogun State governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Governor Dapo Abiodun of the All-Progressives Congress as the winner of yesterday’s governorship election in Ogun State.
According to INEC’s returning officer, Prof. Kayode Adebowale, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, Gov. Abiodun scored a total of 276, 298 votes to emerge as the winner, beating Mr. Oladipupo Olatunde Adebutu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to second place with a narrow margin.
Adebutu scored a total of 262, 383 votes.
