Daniel, Fayose Meet with Tinubu in Lagos

Femi Ashekun/

Former Governors Gbenga Daniel of Ogun State and Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State visited national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, at his Ikoyi, Lagos residence, yesterday.

Details of their discussions have not been made public.

However, Fayose, who is a chieftain of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), revealed that his visit to Tinubu had no political undertone.

According to him, he only went to wish Tinubu well following his reported knee surgery in London.

Fayose noted that ill-health does not recognise political affiliation.
