Chairman of the Nigerian in Diaspora Commission, Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has disowned her tweet in which she claimed that 520 students of the Government Science Secondary School, Kankara, Katsina State, abducted by Boko Haram last Friday had been released.
Tweeting via her verified Twitter handle this afternoon, Dabiri-Erewa had written, “Yaay, the 333 boys captured in katsina have been rescued. Alhamdulillahi!
“Buhari administration has brought back our boys. BringBackOurBoys. Our boys are back.”
But moments later, she deleted the tweet, claiming that her Twitter and Instagram accounts were momentarily taken over by some unknown persons.
She also cautioned the public against crediting any post on the release of the Kankara schoolboys to her.
Her latest tweet reads, “Pls don’t credit any post on katsina boys to my twitter handle. I lost control of my handle in the last couple of minutes, along with my Instagram. I have recovered and changed my password.”
