Former Katsina State Commissioner of Police, CP Umar Shehu Nadada mni has been posted as the CP in charge of Nasarawa State.
The posting was announced by IGP Kayode Egbetokun in a statement signed by police spokesman, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi.
CP Nadada hails from Rano Local Government Area of Kano State. He was enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force in 1992.
According to Adejobi the posting takes immediate effect pending approval of the Police Service Commission and it is in line with the commitment to fostering community ties and ensuring inclusive policing.
“The Inspector-General of Police emphasizes the importance of a collaborative approach to policing, urging the newly appointed Commissioner of Police to work closely with community leaders and stakeholders to create a safer and more secure environment for all residents.”
