The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Tijani Fatai, has reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to deepening collaboration with the Lagos State Health Service Commission to enhance security in healthcare facilities and improve public service delivery across the state.
The assurance was given on Friday when the Chairman and members of the Lagos State Health Service Commission paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police at the Command Headquarters in Ikeja.
The delegation, led by the Chairman of the Commission, Dr. Oguntimehin Olukayode, included Dr. Ogboye Olusegun Abayomi, Dr. Odunuga Omolaja Olushola, Dr. (Pharm.) Mrs. Adejumo Moyosore Wuraola, and Dr. Mrs. Ololade Fadipe.
During the meeting, both institutions explored strategies for strengthening cooperation, with particular emphasis on police support for healthcare facilities, enhanced security, and improved service delivery for residents of Lagos State.
Speaking during the visit, CP Tijani Fatai expressed appreciation to the Commission for the courtesy call, describing inter-agency collaboration as a critical tool for effective governance and improved public service.
He reiterated the Lagos State Police Command’s readiness to sustain partnerships with relevant government agencies, stressing that closer cooperation would not only improve security around health institutions but also contribute to the overall safety, well-being, and quality of life of Lagos residents.
The visit underscored the shared commitment of the Lagos State Police Command and the Health Service Commission to fostering stronger institutional relationships aimed at delivering efficient, secure, and people-centred services across the state.
