Facebook has joined the war against coronavirus pandemic, entering into a partnership with governments starting with India to keep the world well informed, says the CEO of the social media platform, Mark Zuckerberg.

Zuckerberg posted on his Facebook page: “As part of our effort to make sure everyone has accurate and timely information about coronavirus, we’re working with the Indian government and national governments around the world. Thanks for your partnership, and I’m glad we’re all working together to fight coronavirus.”

The partnership has set up a 24×7 Corona help desk with WhatsApp number +919013151515 and a Toll-Free line: 1075, along with Email: ncov2019@gov.in.

It has also sent out a message to people saying, “Prepare. Don’t Panic.”
