The Lagos State COVID-19 Taskforce, today, arrested ovee 50 youths who had attended a party in violation of the lockdown directives of the federal and state governments.
The General Manager, Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA), Mrs. Dolapo Fasawe, disclosed this in a statement.
NewsmakersNG learnt that the party was held at 84, Parks and Gardens, opposite Abattoir at Abule Egba.
Fasawe also disclosed that a nightclub at VGC, Lekki, using a pharmacy store as cover, was sealed on Monday, following tipoff from members of the public.
She maintained that it is no longer business as usual in the state and anyone who disobeys government directive will be made to face the repercussions.
She also appealed to parents and guardians to keep watchful eyes on their wards and ensure they stay away from unlawful gatherings.
Fasawe reiterated that all hands must be on deck to ensure that there is no hiding place for flagrant violators.
