Boko Haram factional leader, Abubakar Shekau, has released an audio message in which he mocked global efforts to curb the spread of Covod-19.
Speaking in Hausa, he claimed that the virus is God’s way of punishing mankind for disobeying him.
He also said that Boko Haram members don’t observe social distancing because they enjoy divine protection from COVID-19.
