A man identified as brother-in-law to the Ooni of Ife and another named as Prince from Abia have died from complications linked to COVID-19 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Married to Princess Adedoja Ogunwusi, the In-law identified as Babafemi Adebayo Olorunfemi came to Brazil last year to settle down with his wife and two children.
He died during a 2-week battle with the novel Coronavirus at a hospital in the Latin American country. Brazil has recorded over 12, 000 deaths and more than 170, 000 infections from the virus.
The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has been on the frontline in the battle against Coronavirus in Nigeria where he had supported some state governments with equipment to fumigate the environment.
NewsmakersNG gathered that Olorunfemi’s death came alongside that of another Nigerian from Aba, Abia State. He was identified as Ibe Martin aka Prince. He had lived in Brazil for 15 years.
