The Lags State Government has cancelled the planned reopening of churches and mosques in the state.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu made the announcement today at a press briefing.
He said the decision was informed by increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the state.
The governor had on Thursday, June 4 granted mosques leave to reopen from June 19, and churches from June 21.
