COVID-19: Imo Records First Case as NCDC Confirms 87 New Infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 87 new coronavirus infections with Imo State recording its first case.

The agency disclosed this on Twitter yesterday night.

According to the breakdown, 33 were confirmed in Lagos, 18 in Borno, 12 in Osun, nine in Katsina, four each in Kano and Ekiti, three each in Edo and Bauchi, and one in Imo.

The number of discharged patients increased from 208 to 222, while the number of fatalities increased from 32 to 35.
