Concerned about governments neglect and the crippling effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on Amaukwu Orodo community in Mbaitoli area of Imo State, a group led by former Force Marine Officer, retired CSP Chinedu Iwuozo, has donated relief materials to the needy.
Iwuozo and members of Amaukwu-Orodo Development Forum (ADF), who received prayers from the people, told NewsmakersNG that the feat was achieved with donations from 18 members of ADF.
The Chairman – CSP Iwuozo, and one Hon. S.C. Amah led other members of ADF to monitor the distribution to members of the community.
“This is to encourage our indigenes to comply with the COVID-19 directive as there is no government support yet in my community,” the Chairman said.
